BOSTON!!!

From Buffalo and Orange County, NY, Dave and I headed over to Boston to visit some of my favorite creative girls- Janet and Sheryl. And! we finally got to meet Fish, Sheryl's love who draws robots and animals. These cats are awesome!

Although our visit was short, we found time to enjoy many a meal together, including some wonderful homemade pizza at Sheryl's house.

Also, Janet joined us for a trip around the Institute of Contemporary Art, which has a new building on the waterfront in an "up and coming" are of town. Unfortunately, we were only able to see a limited number of galleries, but the building itself, by Diller Scofidio + Renfro, was great. The friendliest space, I think, was the amphitheater on the waterfront, where we ate a picnic lunch before going into the galleries.

The dangling computer room, which juts down from the overhang over the amphitheater, might be a great space, but it made me feel a little seasick, with its forced view of the water.

Thanks Janet, Sheryl, and Fish for a great time in Boston!

And thanks Fish for the fantastic lead on where to go for Cannoli- the best place in Little Italy, Boston, for cannoli is hands down the Modern Pastry Shop. We bought a dozen cannoli before leaving. So tasty!
