C17- the fastest way to the Ice

Delays in posting about the remainder of our road trip...delays in flying down to the Ice.

Dave and I are currently in rainy Christchurch, New Zealand. We were supposed to be in the air today, heading down to Antarctica in a C17 or perhaps a C130, but we have been delayed 24 hours. So we are heading out to some nearby hot springs to relax in warmth one more day...
